Auditioning actors for nearly two decades Paul Russell Casting has provided quality, efficient, principal casting for varied projects including: Film: 20th Century Fox, HBO, TV: CBS, NBC, Warner Bros.; Broadway & Off-Broadway plus hundreds of plays, musicals, classical works and premiers for numerous, acclaimed regional theaters including the Asolo Theatre Festival, San Jose Rep. and the Barter Theatre.
 A member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society Russell has brought unique, perspectives to new plays and classic musicals. His provocative and bold rethinking of the classic musical Oliver (set during the Blitz of 1941) was presented at both the Barter Theatre and Cape Fear Regional Theatre.

Presently Paul teaches NYU-Tisch students at The Atlantic Theater Company and privately. He has also spoken to theater students, by invitation, on the campuses of America’s finest performing arts schools including: Yale, Rutgers, Temple University, The University of The Arts, Elon University, The University of Nebraska and Northeastern University. Whether working one-on-one with an actor, in groups or during master classes, Russell enjoys guiding and helping actors discover effective audition techniques and modern marketing strategies that they’ve yet to discover for themselves.
